Thanks Joan, I didn't see the other NG.
I have been thinking of getting an A3 printer for a while now, but I think I
have just changed my mind :-)
I never realised A2 printers existed until now. Damn it, more expense! :-)
Cheers

They get a lot bigger than that!
Epson's 9800 prints 44 inches wide (about 116cm), and as long as you want.
My 4000 prints 17 inches wide and long as you like... To the right of me
sits a panorama print that's about 44 inches long and 17" tall...of this

Wow! 44 inch, I think that might be pushing it a bit though, my desk is only
29 inch ;-)
17 inch would be ideal for me, as a framed A3 print is just a little smaller
than I would prefer.
That's a very nice landscape of Haleakala, lovely colours etc. I can imagine
that the Panoramic version looks great.
I printed out a panorama of Ryde seafront (Isle of Wight) on my A4 printer a
few days ago, just to see what it looked like printed, but I had to print it
on separate sheets of paper and tape them together, which spoils the effect
a bit, but it still looks ok considering.
It turned out 7 A4 sheets wide (10in high 49in wide) but I would love to see
it 17in high and um very wide lol :-)

It's customary to cross post to closely related groups so that those of
us who participate in multiple NG's don't have to read repetitive posts.
It also allows wider participation, as the readership isn't one for one
the same.
The word "shame" is way over doing it, but I think Mark squared would
guffaw; that was the intention, anyway.

Ok that's it!
I've had enough!
Stop using fancy words like "guffaw" that people don't understand!
Geezes...some people are so insensitive!
Heh!
OOTC - I like photography.

If you cross-post (as in posting with multiple NGs in the "to" line), people
often miss it entirely due to screen of cross-posts as a means of defeating
trolls. I participate in 3 photo NGs, so I see no reason why I should
choose only one...or two. You can't please everyone... "Shame"? None
here! ;)
