Thom Hogan says that it will be the D3h. There are hints of another
consumer camera (D60?) to replace the D50.

Sooo.

D3h?

D60?

Both?

Does he say it will be full frame?

No full frame Nikon for a while....ESPECIALLY a D3H which is a
sports/action camera and the crop factor is a BONUS...makes your lenses
effective focal length longer and lets you carry smaller lenses, cheaper
lenses and get the same shot.  No one with a D2H would upgrade to s D3H
because of the HUGE amount of cash needed to upgrade their 300mm+ lenses
as well.  If they normally shot with a 300, its effectively a 450...now
they need a longer more expensive lense...or use a TC and have all the
negative issues with that.  FF would benefit only a portrait or
landscape user and the D3H isnt targeted at that crowd....

I think everyone would be very surprised to see a 35mm D3h sensor. It
makes no sense.

The rumored D3x is supposed to be the 35mm sensor Nikon.

LOL!!~! !

Got me fair and square.  I meant a "date" for the appearance of a full
frame Nikon, or a D3H, whichever.  LOL again~!

Actually Thom isn't my type.  Maybe Rita Berkowitz (a/k/a Ms. SCSI),
but I would have to see a photo first!  ROTL!!!

LOL!  Father Kodak, nice to see that you "got" my attempt at humor.
Not everyone does.

I knew what you meant, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to take
your post literally.

>From her posts, Rita seems pretty nice, and we'd hate to be sexist,
wouldn't we, but if you get a photo, pass it around.

Duh I thought I was the "thick as whales---" about humor, as someone
once said about me.  How could anyone NOT get this humor??

Sexist?  Me?  Ever read any of the ads in the "pesonals" section of
the want-ads?

Actually, out of respect for Rita, I will say publicly am already
married and I don't fool around.
