Under Mac os10.4.7, what software to use from Canon that'll let you
shoot tethered? I've four different CD's from Canon, and updated the
most recent "regular" one, as well as the :"pro" version.

Yet I am baffled as to how to shoot tethered, or whether it's even
possible under the latest version of Tiger.

I have asked a related question in Mac group but didn't get an answer
that really showed me either if nor how...

Does not look good -- 10.4.7 apparently upgraded the I/O drivers for
the USB ports and the problem seems to affect only Canon cameras, which
is downright wierd. Some people have have had success re-loading the
10.4.6 drivers. There is a discussion about it here:

Thanks for that link. It seems to be centered around the 5D and Mark.x's .

I cannot get it to work for either my 20D or 300 D on either Tiger
(macbookpro) or 10.2x (iBook G3).

If anyone who has it working for said combo, could you say what version
of which Canon software seems to be the right one? I did get a nice off
list e-mail saying it worked for him, but have misplaced that.
