Just took the plunge, and went dslr, purchased the Nikon D-50, after using
Sony P&S and a Cannon AE-1, which is over 20 years old, still works, but I
cant bear to part with.
The D-50 is great, still learning it, but its nice to be able to shoot and
shoot, with out worrying about film, can go back and delete the opps and the
goofs.
Want to thank all of ya'll out there for the good and some times funny reads
on here.
Will be keeping up with it as best as I can on here, hoping to get a good
zoom, the one I keep hearing about that no one seems to have anywhere yet,
sounds like a good all arround lens, or maybe some other good Nikon glass
out there.
Thanks

It came with the AF-S DX 18-55 3.5-5.6G lens, thats right off the paper
work, other words, the 18 to 55 mm zoom.
