Problems with my Pentax IST DS! Wont power up!PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello, I recently bought a Pentax ist and it was working fine for a few days
and now it powers on when it wants to. I turn it on and nothing. I have
changed the batteries and that is not it. please help me!!! nmgoregon @ hotmail.com

nmgoregon-

The only thing I can think of that you could correct might be a defective
memory card.  Do you have a second one to try?

Your *ist DS should have come with a pair of CR-V3 batteries.  These are
NOT rechargeable, but should have lasted for quite a while.  If you have
changed to some other kind of battery, that might be part of your problem.

Try the CR-V3 batteries and see if you still have the problem.  If you do,
and you know your memory card is good, you should take the camera back to
the store for a replacement.
