Owner is selling for about 1/3rd of the price of a new D200 and is
including a 28-85mm AF lens.
I'm really at a loss here...I could live with 4.1MP as I seldom enlarge
anything bigger than a 12x8, but what I want to know is what I can
expect from the camera in terms of image quality? Have read Phil Askeys
review and he was impressed, but that was a couple years ago.

Keep in mind 7 year parts availability after discontinuance and take that
into account as part of the deal. With dslrs, it isn't as likely that one
will be able to scavenge parts from another unit or that a repairman can
make a part you need. How many accessories that you'll buy for it are for
it specifically and won't be usable with another camera? All things to
consider in making your decision. The reason for the D2H was speed...is
that something you need, or a bad trade-off over resolution? Only you know
what will work best for you.

Owners on the dpreviews Nikon D2x, D2H, D2Hs, D100 and D200 forum seem
to like them but generally agree there are some warts that were
corrected with the D2Hs. Search around that forum and you will get a
good look at the camera.
