Sounds like the rumours of a Nikon FF are true then. :o)

Does this mean that I should cancel my order for the 5D and MP-E 65mm f/2.8
and hold off for the new FF Nikon?

If your workflow requires a 22 MP camera, yes wait until coming
Photokina.
You'll be safe buying the MP-E 65mm f/2.8 any time between now and
then.

Ooh, that doesn't sound like it would be in my budget.

This might encourage Nikon to reduce the price of the D200, but as long
as that camera is backordered, probably not, unfortunately. I have not
purchased my D200 yet, but hope springs eternal.

The D200 is readily avaiable, just not from B&H and Adorama. Best Buy will
ship it on the web today! But, that is not to say that buying it there is the
best idea. I can get it locally at a few shops for $1699 + tax.
