If you have to choose, which one would you buy? And why?

At the time I have KM D7d with Sigma lenses.

Will Canon body work better with Sigma or Canon lenses than KM body? (AF
etc.)

For the information, I have KM D7d with Sigma 20-40/2,8, 70-200/2,8 and
105/2,8 macro. Flash is Metz 54 MZ3
I am thinking to sell that and buy Canon 30D with canon 17-40/4 L USM and
Sigma 100-300/4 APO HSM. And Canon speedlite 580.

I know that I will loose some money, but if you ignore this, will I get
maybe better performance, quality of the system...? :(
I  am asking you this because I think that KM does not work to good in AF or
sharpnes with Sigma lenses. And one minus is classic motor drive (not HSM or
USM).

Thank you in advance.

Canon bodies and sigma lenses historically have never got on well.  Km fit
lenses will not fit a canon no matter who manufactures them.

KM flash system is second to none.
Then there is the antishake system.  Take your lens and add two to three
hundred pounds on top for each lens that you want to have antishake ability.

KM made lenses are as good as anything out there.  There are cheap crap ones
too.  I would email alan browne about choices of lens.  I recall that the
bundled km software wasn't too hot.  Shoot in raw and download the free
version of raw shooter.  also elements has a raw converter now.
