I have a couple of 1970's Mamiya-Sekor SLR cameras with a collection of
Vivitar lenses that screw into the camera body. Some of the "high end"
digital cameras seem to look like the older SLRs. Will my old lenses work
with any new "Digital" cameras?
Thanks in advance.

The Pentax *ist D and *ist DS can use these lenses, however IMHO there is no
compelling reason to use old 1970's Vivitar lenses. The Vivitar Series II
glass was good glass in that era but by today's standards it isn't worth the
trouble of using them in a stop-down metering mode. It's too slow and
clumsy.

Pentax *istD/DS, or any camera for which an M42 mount adaptor is available
will allow you to take pictures. How many features you get are down to the
camera. With the Pentax you have to stop the lens manually, but you can use
spot or average metering in manual or aperture priority modes.

I too have some old 1970' Mamiya-Sekor SLR lenses and was wanting to go
digital. I was curious if you tried the pentax body and were satisfied with
the results.
Thanks
