Hi,

Are the lenses from the old film canon EOS 650 compatible with the new
canon digital SLRs? I have zoom, wide angle, closeup and a microscope
mount and am wondering whether to upgrade the body of my camera.

Thanks,

Jen

Any Canon branded lens will work, however some aftermarkets such as
Sigma need rechipping to work with the newer bodies depending on the age
of the lens, and which Canon digital body you go with.

They are compatible. However some older non-Canon lenses might not work with
the new body. This particularly applies to older Sigma lenses.
