Hi all,

Im looking for something to hold reflectors and/or plants steady.

I was looking at buying a plamp but I'm not to impressed with the price of
the thing, so started to look for alternatives.
I found that a flexible extension is available for the Manfrotto Superclamp.
Manfrotto seem to make a clip but it looks like it mounts directly to the
Superclamp rather than on the end of the flexi arm.

I'd rather have a superclamp system as I can use it for other uses in the
future.

Anyone using such a system or know if it will work ?

Many Thanks

Adam

Hobby stores usually have interesting tools like gooseneck arms and
clamps that can be useful.  Really depends on the weight or strain that
you'll have on the clamp.

What is the weight difference?  I have a plamp, and it is really quite light.
I have no problem throwing it in a backpack with my 4x5 gear.
I would have a problem with a superclamp (I do have one), which is
heavy and one would still need a flexible arm.

Thanks guys,  I have kept on looking today and found a small clamp with
flexible arm on sale in Maplins which looks like it could be useful, they
also have small plastic clamps which could be mounted on the end with a bit
of fiddling.

Gonna pop out to Maplins tomorrow and check them out !

Cheers......Adam
