True; most people who know Pentax have long assumed cameras like these would be coming at some point. Although I found it interesting that there were relatively very few credible/specific rumors floating around - after the Samsung deal, many people did not know what to expect or when to expect it. For Olympus users, PMA has been chocked full of great announcements. I'm glad that Pentax users are receiving encouraging news too.
