Dumb question. How many shots in that time? Just thinking about the
relatively-low ratings (# of exposures) of the shutters on the entry-level
DSLRs, and how that might correspond to a relatively-short lifespan for some
of us. Kinda interesting to think that one torrid day of shooting might eat
up 1-2% of your camera's shutter lifespan.
Thankfully (?) it doesn't take too long before the lens expenditures
represent far more money than the body on entry-level DSLRs, so replacing
the body doesn't seem quite so expensive down the road as it did when you
bought it.

shutter mechanism?
