Hi All

Anybody know if Nikon VR lenses still do the VR magic if there is a
multiplier between them and the body?

This seems a good way to save money until I can afford some more expensive
glass.

I can confirm that the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR does work fine with a Kenko 2x
teleconverter.

Works like a champ with my 70-200 f/2.8 VR and TC-20E II  as well.

Same here. I will point out this lens becomes a bit sluggish compared to
its stand alone stellar AF performance in my experience. Is your experience
the same Rita?

It doesn't seem that much more noticeable with it in, but I do get the
occasional hunting that irritates me.
