Oh, I dunno...

Are you doing this MANUALLY?  If yes, I'll agree with you.

Personally, I find the stats interesting.

In any case, they're MUCH more worth reading than most of the OT posts and
virtually ALL of the flames and spam.

Thanks for posting.

There's ANOTHER way?

Omigod!  You ARE doing it manually!

I am even MORE impressed.  And, yes.  You need to get a life.

I still enjoy reading your *WORK*!!  Sheesh!

(If there IS another way, I'm not aware of it.  I just assumed that such
detail, formatting, blah, blah, would have been done by machine.  Wow!)

Even though I admire everyone here, I would not spend that much time or
effort. I ran a Perl script that did the work. A search on the
Headers will tell you all.

I had to use another script, called getnews first.

As a side note, there was roughly 5 megabytes total, comprised of roughly
2500 articles, dating back to the end of October.

So, as much as I'd like the credit, those Perl scripts, done by others, did
all the work.

I was a fool for thinking I could get away with it.

Please excuse me now, I've got to run. I haven't looked at the lint filter
in the dryer for seven hours.
