Aftermarket lens support;  Pentax yes, Olympus no?

Does Pentax sell more DSLRs than Olympus?  If not,
why no aftermarket lenses for Olympus?  Is it solely
because of the 4/3rds system requirements?

Several makers like Sigma announced 4/3 lenses, but I haven't seen any
shipped at least in Canada. Perhaps the sales numbers are lower than the
third-parties like?
