My shot numbers are comming up to img_9999.jpg.
What happens when the odometer rolls over? Do I go to 5 digits? I
hope so otherwise my fiing system will be a mess.
Thanks

File by YYYY.MM.DD and you'll have no problem for the next 7995 years
and 5 months.

The file names that come from your camera is not sacrosanct, special,
or otherwise intended to be long-term affairs. Consider them the
random numbers they more or less are; rename your images immediately
after you copy them off the card.
