I saw the Canon ad for the 350D. In one scene this guy is jumping around
in a cloud of red sand, making more dust than you can imagine and then
photographing it.

I wonder how long the camera will last if you keep doing that with it!

Maybe it was to subconsciously downplay the idea of sensor dust?
