After shopping for my Max 7D and getting the best possible price last
March, you can imagine how dismayed I was when the Canadian rebate offer
came out valid from May 1 ...

But, I tried anyway, along with a letter explaining my long loyalty to
Minolta and some indication of my inventory of Minolta equipment ...

This evening I came home and was delighted to find a rebate cheque for
$200 !!

So that not only brings the purchased price more in line with the rest
of the market but will pay for the 2 GB CF I want to get before the
summer vacation.

I hope they do the same when they come up with a 12MP 9D ;-) Can I
claim loyalty and all that with a Maxxum 5? :-)
