In the Toronto Star. We had a huge wind/rainstorm today
and it trashed a local park.  I got shots of a 100ft bridge
falling down and heading downstream.  Of course the bridge was
wood.  It will be on pg. 2 of the the local section the paper Tuesday.
I also had video shown of the bridge on a local newscast(CTV)
a side benefit of using a Prosumer.  It was pretty awesome shooting
the destruction.  Pity about it because the park was a picturesque
place to go.  Five days prior, I was there during a storm and
lightning blasted a tree 20 feet from me.  In both cases, I managed to
get decent shots before I was chased away by the park people who are
paranoid about the danger.

Sometimes it only makes sense to focus our attention on those
questions that are equal parts trivial and intriguing.

Yes, between the newspaper for the shot and the tv news for the video,
it added up to almost half my C8080's cost.  Not bad for an enjoyable
hour of spare time.

Thank you.  Here is the image.  Too bad it was black and white in the
paper, but it wasn't a weekend edition.  :)
