Is it fair to compare D70 with 20D technology?
Aren't these over a year apart in GA

I shoot with both and slightly prefer the 20D

I would say it is not a fair comparison. The 20D is a level above the D70.
But hey, you have both, so why ask even?

One thing I dis-like about the D70 is the more consumer-like feel to it.
Maybe this is not important to some. Also it appears to be far more noisy.
Seems like the 20D has very low noise, even up to 1600 ISO (also 5fps and
super fast AF is hard to beat). I originally considered buying the D70 (when
10D was around). I waited (luckily) and as soon as the 20D came out, I
bought it - I love it.

I didn't ask - I was answering another post about the comparison

Ah, but because you changed the subject, (or maybe it's just your newsreader
or ISP), it shows up as a new thread.  And because you didn't quote anything
from the post you were replying to, it looks just like a brand new thread.
There is no way for us to tell who or what thread you are replying to.

It was a new thread. daj's first post had no Refs. in the headers.
