I just bought my 20D from Kits and they offered me an extended service
policy for about $200.00 additional for one year. Does anyone have any
experience or comments with such a plan. I do know that in the auto industry
they are generally not worth the paper they are written on. But on the other
hand I had a Dell laptop that had Dell complete care warranty, on the last
month of the warranty period I shattered the LCD. I made one call to Dell
and in 3 days I had my computer back with a new LCD no questions and no $$$
out of my pocket. Just would like to know if it would be worth getting this
plan or if it is a waste of money. Thanks in advance for any comments and
advice.

Once the camera moves out of infancy (a few months - and covered by the
usual warranty), it'll probably outlive even the extended warranty
without incident.

Buy another CF card instead.
