Hi all

I have a friend who is about to sell his Nikon D100, I was considering
making an offer, but I'm not sure how much.

I've had a quick scout around the internet and found second hand prices
from a few hundred quid up to nearly new prices.

It's in good condition and has the battery grip, what would be a fair offer
(we are both in the UK)

If you want to keep him as a friend find out what the camera is worth to you
and keep that number private and let him tell you what he wants for it.  If
the price is where you feel fair, buy it.  As for an actual value of the
camera, there are a lot of factors to consider such as overall condition and
how well used it is.   See what some of the camera shops in your area are
offering to buy and/or selling used D100s for.
