Hi all, I've found this product, Durst Neriocam, to mount the camera on
enlarger. Do anyone know if this tool can be used on M605 model?

Thanks all

The post that the Neriocam mounts on in the same diameter on a lot of Durst
products.  M601, M605, M670 (I have a M601 "XL" which is a 601 head on a 670
column and carriage so I am pretty certain it will work if it's made for the
M601).

The problem is that the seller says that Neriocam is made for M305,
from here my doubt.

When I googled NERIOCAM I found listing also for M670 and Modular 70
enlargers.  Durst was very consistent about not using the same part name for
two parts that will not interchange.  So it's pretty safe to assume that a
NERIOCAM is a Neriocam is a neriocam.

When I google the M305 enlarger I saw pictures of what is almost identical
to a M601 or M605 with a head that will not handle negatives larger that
35mm.  The column looked identical in all dimensions but may have been
shorter.

If not a bunch of money it would be worth it for convenience but here's
something you may not know...

Most Durst enlarger carriage posts (the part that the heads mounts on and
pivots about for perspective control) are drilled and threaded for a
standard 3/8 inch stud-same as a Euro tripod socket.  I long ago took a
small ball head (also drilled and threaded for a standard 3/8 inch stud) and
a short 3/8 stud and screwed the ball head onto the end of the enlarger
carriage pivot post.  And then could mount any kind of camera I pleased onto
my Durst enlarger column.  (Well any kind of small camera it wasn't that
good a ball head.)  My normal practice was to mount the ball head, attach
the camera and then gently lower the camera to the baseboard of the
enlarger, the metal lenshood of the lens would self level the camera and
ensure that camera film plane and baseboard were parallel.  I tightened the
ballhead, cranked the carriage up and shot my copy work.
