Would anyone like to comment on the discrepancy in suggested timings for
Fuji E6 film, between the Jobo website and Tetenal E6 instructions?
Tetenal give FD 7:00 for rotary processors, then 6:00 for CD and 6:00 for BL
(all fresh solutions). Jobo website instructions for the CPE-2 Plus give FD
7:30, CD 4:00 and BL 6:00.

Jobo use different chemicals. Fuji-Hunt instead of Tetenal.

Use the recommendations of the chemical manufacturer. Chemical
formulations may vary (Kodak's six-bath E-6 kit recommends 7:00 @ 38C
for the first developer in a rotary processor, 2:00 reversal, and 4:00
color developer), and the documentation that comes with them is likely
a more accurate guide.
The first developer is the most time/temp sensitive. It determines
your overall density. The color developer/reversal step should be a
reaction to completion, as is the blix.

So far I've found 7:30 to be way off the mark for 1st developer. My
transparencies come out a little more dense than I would like them to.
The standard time of 6:00 for 1st developer works just fine. Otherwise
follow the rest of Tetenal's instructions and you can't go wrong.

So 7:30 makes them too light?
