Anyone have any experience with both of the Fuji 100 ISO films?
Apparently Fuji is still making the older SS emulsion. I picked some up
yesterday with dating of 9-2007!

The Neopan ss is a good old school film, and the Acros is similar to
D100 or Tmax. What sets Acros apart from most other films is it's
reciprocity characteristics requiring much less exposure compensation
for long exposures.

I ran a test yesterday using Neopan SS against FP4 Plus.

The FP4 Plus is just a bit finer-grained, but about a stop faster. The
correct exposure for the SS was 1/125 sec @ f/8. The FP4 negative that
gave a virtually identical print was exposed at 1/250 sec. Both films
were developed together in the same tank, in Paterson FX-39 developer.
The contrast is, for all intents and purposes, identical.
