How is a glass plate oriented in a camera, with the emulsion facing the
lens a la film or with the emulsion on the back of the glass i.e. glass
facing the lens - emulsion "behind" glass?
Thanks

Emulsion towards the lens... You don't want the image going through the
glass to get to the emulsion....\
