That is too funny.  I worked for a company that sold holographic plate,
these where 4 x 5 glass plates and pretty expensive.  One of our
customer complained that all the plates were fogged, it turns out their
receiving clerk decided he needed to count all the plate to be sure
there were the right number in the box.  There were of course warnings
all over the box not to open in light but that did not stop him.  I was
well over $100 in plates and this was in the 70s.
