ilfosol color

I just opened a bottle of Ilford Ilfosol developer (sealed, but of
uncertain age).  It is the color of rose wine.  Is this normal, or has
it oxidized?

Probably OK. Mine, which is fairly new, looks more amber than red.

Contact Ilford?  If you have any doubts at all they will probably replace it
for you.  (I know Kodak will.)
