I have not and likely will not. There is something about
those devices that, in my mind, spells dirty and dusty.
I may put togeather a strip proofer using a sized
glass sheet. For now I'll be doing some proof sheets,
two-up on 5x7, using the enlarger. Dan

robert--
There are two types of proff sheet print holders for 120 film: one type
has groves to hold three strips of four negatives each, the other holds the
whole role. I use the latter.
With the former type you need to remove the negatives from storage and
slide them in the groves. Since I cut and store my negatives in four strips
of three frames each, this type doesn't work for me at all in any case.
The frame that I use is a large sheet of glass hinged to a base that has a
thick rubber mat glued to it. I take the entire storage page (in archival
plastic) and put it between the glass and rubber with the paper below the
negatives (emulsion side up, of course). Now when I make the print the
marking on the negative holder also prints on the paper so I have no
problems keeping them together.

Robert,
I have the Paterson and my comments apply to it and not the Jobo. It also
uses 4 strips of 3 negatives per strip. It is sometimes a pain to load as
the holding mechanism is a plastic mask. Sometimes you can easily insert
the negatives sometimes it's a real chore! Once you get the negatives
loaded, it works well, however if you load the paper in the registration
slot other than very gently, you may move one or more strips out of it's
holder. The mask prints a couple of spaces for information and date, but I
don't use these.
Again, I don't know about the Jobo, but if you can get to both of them and
try and load a scrap piece of negative, that may help you to decide.

Take my advice, buy yourself a sheet of 6mm glass - say 30x40cm. Edge it
with masking tape.
This is by far the simplest solution to making contact prints.
