Does any one use/used/recommend/condemn the old Heath/Mitchell
'Color Canoe'?

ObPhotoHist: A color canoe was a curved stainless steel tray for color
printing. The print was placed in the canoe, 1 oz (?) of developer
added and the canoe was rocked in a tempered water bath. Predated (?)
the print drum.

Gee, thanks for the flashback - almost made my brain hurt to think back
that far.
Way back when, I recall some comments about them, from people who were
buying drums from me. None of the comments were very favorable;
apparently if the paper didn't stay "stuck" to the tray you'd get
uneven devopment or spots.
To me, this tray didn't seem very practical, requiring darkness during
the entire process as it did. Why do you ask?

The usuall print tray can be used. Meter out the chemistry. Use it
one-shot.
I think four ounces about minimum for an 8X10.
