I do not. What kind of partical counters? Beta rays? Alpha particles? A
Geiger counter should do gamma rays or Beta rays. I do not know if it
would detect Alpha particles. Are you getting unexplained film fog?

A particle counter counts dust particles. I want one so that I can know when
my air filters have acheived an acceptable level of cleanliness. Most pro-labs
I go to just run the filters all day, but I do darkroom work infrequently and I
just want to make sure 1) my filters are working and 2) when they've achieved
an acceptable result.

In the event of not finding a real device, you can always use a microscope
slide with Vaseline smeared on it. A cheap student microscope and you'll be
able to perform the task you want for very little money outlay.
