i have been trying out various developers for paper and ansco 130 seems to
work well for me.

the glycin turns my solution a light  brown but doesn't seem to cause ant
problems with my prints so is it really a necessary additive?

    Yes. It's the developing agent.

nov704 from Lloyd Erlick,

If it looks F R E A K I N ' to people in the USA, can
you imagine what it looks like to people outside? (For
starters, it was deliberate and intentional, unlike the
first time.)

I claim no responsiblity :-) Didn't vote for either Bush.

Oh well some of "Us" will just have to grin and bear it.
Lets try and be positive about it and "HOPE" things change for
the better this 4.

nov704 from Lloyd Erlick,

Canada is often compared to a cat sleeping with a cow.
The cat loves the cow for its warmth and snuggliness.
But the cow can roll over in its sleep and never even
know the cat is flat.

Hence the eternal Canadian debate over how close to
get, how deeply to sleep, how warm it's advisable to
be, whether the cow appreciates us, whether we might
get a missile shield for free of if we might have to
pay, etc etc etc.

We "HOPE" indeed, but now the treatment for which
Canada was singled out after 9/11 seems re-validated by
the election. It wasn't an aberrant politician but a
majority of voters that meant to treat Canada that way.

Well, kaka. I've fallen off my darkroom stool. Just
remember, Lloyd says no good can come of voting for
someone who pronounces it nuke-yew-lar. And Tony Blair
better watch out because those Brit voters are an
ornery lot.

Can you clarify treatment? I am not sure what you meant.
Not make this a political thread but what did the US do
to Canada,...excuse my ignorance of what it was.
If need be email offline.

nov704 from Lloyd Erlick,

Thanks, Greg, I'll email off-list. I've prepared a
suitable rant for the occasion, but I can't figure out
how to de-munge your email address, so could you let me
know? I don't mean to start an exchange of tirades
unless they're related to the darkroom.
