I've read that the Stock solution made dissolving A and B components
of Ilford ID-11 developer in the appropriate amount of water can be
considered stable for 6 months in a fullfilled bottle. Is it true? Is
it better to use demineralized water to prepare it?

Thanks

1.  If your ID-11 stock solution last six months you're not spending enough
time in the darkroom!

2.  Subdivide your mixed stock solution into smaller, glass, bottles.  Fill
them within a 14 of the top, the solution does not need to brim over the
bottle lip.  Real Saran wrap under the screw cap will eliminate even more
oxygen migration, and you may want to test refrigeration Vs room temp
storage since all chemical reactions occur slower at lower temps.

I believe so. Inquire with Ilford to be sure.

Ilford's data sheet for ID-11 indicates that tightly capped full
bottles of ID-11 will last for 6 months.  See
http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/PDF/ID-11.pdf.
