I've been using Ilford's ID-11 for developing Kodak HIE and have been pretty
satisfied iwth the results. On the other hand, it is impossible to find in
local stores, so I have to mail order it. Since D-76 seems much easier to
find, I wondered if any of you have had good luck using it for processing
HIE?
I know there are usually debates about how close these developers are or
aren't. Would appreciate any feedback on the matter (If you are using D-76,
what dev. times are you using?)
Thanks, Sam

I always use D76 for HIE. The developing times are listed with the
data sheet for the film or on Kodak's web site.
Works fine..

The developers are practically identical, and for all practical
purposes they may be interchanged.
