I live in the St. Louis, Missouri, area, and have a homemade (plywood
sealed with resin) darkroom sink that I need to get out of my garage.
This belonged to my ex -- he didn't want to take it when he moved out
last year.

Any suggestions on the best way to sell something like this in the
used market? I don't want many $$ -- is there a market or specialized
website to post items like this?  I have already used a local
classified ad with no responses.  I haven't yet tried eBay.

Thanks very much for any ideas provided!

Ebay or rec.photo.darkroom.marketplace. If you have never sold on Ebay, ask
one of your friends if they will list it for you.

If that ain't the most clever singles-ad I've ever read.

A sink won't be practical to sell on eBay.  I suggest that the original
poster gives it away if she doesn't want to throw it out.  Find the local
photo clubs and see if there is any interest.

I sold a Soloflex on Ebay which weighed over 125 lbs. You just have to
understand that the item cannot be shipped (economically) and someone will
have to pick it up. There are photographers in the  St. Louis, Missouri
area. But don't expect more than $25 for it.

I was just given a 6' stainless steel sink with mixing panel, you can try to
get something for it but if you want it out of the garage quickly--give it
away.
