No, this isn't another sales ad, but it's definitely the time to look
for the darkroom equipment you always wanted but could never afford.
This morning, a decent, working-order ATL-3 has been sitting on ebay.de
at a buy-now price of a mere 29 euros for hours on end before someone
eventually bought it.

And I had thought that my recently bought ATL-1 for 130 euros had been a
good deal.

Keep your eyes open, folks. :-)

Shipping would kill me-) Are these much more common in Europe then North
America? Even old  CPE [Not the plus] are selling for a fair bit.

There is a steady flow of ATL's on ebay.de, nowadays. Admittedly, I
haven't seen them go that cheap, before. They usually sell for anywhere
between 300 and 800 euros with the ATL-3 reaching somewhat lower prices,
supposedly because of its larger size. I gather most of these machines,
just like my ATL-1, now find their way into amateur labs and the hefty
floor-standing ATL-3 is a tad over-dimensioned for hobbyist use.

The non-automatic CPx's have also come down a lot in price, though
nowhere near as much as the automatic machines.

I got a working ATL 3 last year for free, basically all I had to do was
pick it up at the lab,....it was about 11,000 new.
