The Massive Dev Chart (http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.html) doesn't give
a time for Acutol with APX 400 (new). However, they give a time for APX 400
"original" as 9 minutes for 35mm or 12 minutes for larger rollfilm sizes (1+9
dilution @ 20°C). Since the development times for the new film appear to be a
couple of minutes longer than the original (12 minutes for D-76/ID-11 as
opposed to 10 minutes), you could probably just add a minute or two to this
time as a starting point. (Of course, some developers have shorter times with
the new film, so you might want to experiment with both longer and shorter times.)

And your English is correct enough. (Better than my Italian!)

I was quickly apprised that an "RSS feed" was not, as I had naively
imagined, some new and unspeakable form of sexual debauchery practised
by young persons of dubious morality, but a way of providing news
articles to the cybernetic publishing moguls of the World Wide Wait so
they can fill the airwaves with even more useless drivel.

35mm? Try 1+14 for 8 minutes @20C/68F as a starting point.

You shouldn't develop it at all in Acutol.Acutol is meant only for slow
films(~125 asa).

Nonsense. I use Acutol for all films, and it performs splendidly on
today's fine-grain high-speed films.

Michael: do times for APX 100/400 and Tmax 100/400 listed on Digital Truth
for Paterson?s developpers refer to the new versions of this films?

Thanks!

I am not sure. Try 1+14 for 8 minutes at 20C/68F and see how that
works. That's where I suggest you start, because several other
400-speed films develop at that time. You need to run several trials
to get it exact.
