You mean there was a camera being reviewed?

John.

The reviewer is barely literate and resorting to cheesy pix of Asian
Dolly Birds isn't helping his credibility.

Sounds like a D3 killer to me.  Same sensor, same performance.
What idiot would buy a D3?

Oops.

One that is looking for the perfect bridge camera to hold them over till the
next wonderful release.  Only eleven months left on the D3 and I will be
slipping into a D700 at a lower price.  Of course the D700 will hold me over
till the D3x comes out.

BTW>  the D700 has weather seals and the 5D doesn't.  Do you think Canon
will weather seal the 5D replacement?

Do you want to take pics with it or swim with it?

My 40D gets wet sometimes.  I just wipe it off.
As far as features go, weather sealing is right up there with the
Quick Print button.

Weather sealing is for pros who have to shoot in the rain and for
idiots who don't have enough sense to come in out of the rain.
We know which one you are.

It's good to have options.

Yeah, that's the first thing that told me the 40D is nothing but a cheap
toy, that and that funny looking printer docking connector on the bottom.

Good excuse for people that are envious of people that have enough sense to
buy a real camera from a company that has enough sense to add a fifteen cent
'O' ring to prevent unforeseen water damage.

These comments of yours are precisely why you'll never be a photographer. Not
just judging by your pathetic image contributions to the net, which are a total
waste of anyone's time if they've seen any of your photography in the past. But
this alone reveals that you don't know the first thing about how to capture
images that nobody else will ever see. While you are staying safe and warm and
dry petting your little kitty, the real photographers will be out in the real
world capturing images that you'll never get to see. We won't even share them
with people like you. You're that much of a waste.

There's nothing sadder than someone who grew up afraid of a little rain.
