I would challenge you to get one any sharper than this at that
magnification, especially shooting handheld with one hand off a
stepladder.  Thank goodness for Live View mode, which Rita said could
not be used for macros.

shouldn't be hard, just shake the camera and
plenty of nits will fall off...

and the stepladder and the hand held are relevant in
a flash shot because of what?
Ah yes: the exif says: "no flash", therefore
it's important that it was handheld.
never mind, it's all the fault of pbase and its
poor handling of exif...
