It looks like Nikon is now king of the hill for sports shooters.  After many
embarrassing moment and missed opportunities at the sidelines, Canon
shooters are finally throwing in the towel with disgust because of poor
image quality, focusing issues, and substandard flash system.  They have
chosen the D3 for all their must have money shots.

that's much better bokeh-wise.
But still w-a-a-a-a-a-y too
over-sharpened.

Sorry, all optics and no sharpening added.  I even opted to not add any
Tennessee bokeh to any of my cardinal shots.  So there's no PS.

weird:  definitely looks like one of the
tennessee over-sharpened shots with the
hair-sprayed feathers stuck together...

That's one thing you'll never see come out of Tennessee, an over sharpened
image.  He's too busy making composites trying to hide noise and crappy
bokeh when he gets a shot that is reasonably in focus.  This lens is so damn
sharp that it is like viewing the feathers on the molecular level.  Maybe I
need to add some of that Tennessee bokeh?

You wannabe so much like me you have to steal my photos and pretend
adding porn to them makes you look good. If only you knew!

I don't think anyone wants to be a cranky old man with a chip on his
shoulder the size of a Gunns wood chip mill.
Lets face it Douglas, Brett takes some damn fine photos, all we see from you
is some formula shots of one legged grooms and "wedding cake with filing
cabinet background" you could shut us all up and finally prove your ability
to take a walking pano of the marina like you bragged about a while ago :-)
