A Nikon D3 with Nikkors so they can get razor sharp imaged and super tight
DoF they can cut themselves on.  Hell, most Canon shooters are happy to have
something that resembles focus.  Anyway, a trip to the salon today, a new
hairdo, attire, and I'm strutting my stuff!  I even started working on my
tan.  It's going to be a super great summer!!!!

Well f.ck me, Noons and I finally agree on something!
I figured Rita must've shot that one through a jelly jar or something.

"and tight DoF"

it is disturbing to see how some comprehend such things as plane of focus,
DoF and CoC.

you know you can still buy old novoflex lenses if you want a sharp lens to
use on a nikon for wildlife photography

here's one:

Thanks for the suggestion.  It looks like a nice lightweight compact lens,
but after looking at a bunch of sample images from it, I didn't see a single
sharp image.  I'll keep using my 500/4 Nikkor till my 400/2.8 arrives.
