I was about to advertise it on eBay when a fellow offered me the average price brought on eBay in the past month. Just the body at 31,000 clicks with a dodgy grip (only worked on one battery) I threw in for free. worn on the flash shoe, scratched on the tripod mount but otherwise GCFA.
I sent it to Canon in Jan for a service and to have dust removed from the viewfinder. It came back with an $80 bill, the same dust in the viewfinder and 3 spots on the sensor! It had the click counter reset too and wouldn't work on some of my new flash cards when it came back. Worked OK in the 2 gig ones.
Rita was right about the 18 months rule. I sold my other 20D at 17 months for $1370 and kept this one as a spare. I should have sold it then and bought 2, 5Ds. I suppose you are moving to Nikon too eh? An unbelievably expensive exercise I now question the value of having done.
At least I am comfortable with Nikon. I never did like the way all my Canon's needed a camera specific profile in RAW conversion to ensure skin tones were the same from each camera. Nikon has perrrfect skin tones out of the box. Nearly as good as the S5 Fuji.
Good luck with your sale mate. I'd try the Trading Post if I were you. It's where I get higher prices than eBay for camera gear ...and paid with currency too.

I don't need a speed demon, and the price is right. What a pity. I sold my 5D in Feb for $1800 Anyway... You won't go astray with one. The ability to pull detail 3 stops out of shadows without noise is one of their best features. Just beware of using a fast lens wide open for a while. DOF is a bugger all with 100 mm FL at F/2.8.
If you still shoot 35mm, you'll understand the difference between a 20D and a 5D in that area. If not, you'll learn real fast!
