I discovered I have a photo of you:

Here's one to remind us that anyone can take a crappy picture:
<http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/2006/holland/delft_china2.jpg>

Here's one to remind our P&S Troll that he simply has weak wrists:
<http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/2007/aunt_dottie.jpg>

And here's a smattering of personal images that I decided at the time
(for whatever reason) to have been personally interesting enough for
me to take the time to bother to digitize and upload.  As these were
done for myself, it doesn't really matter to me if others like them or
not, but hopefully you'll find one or two that you like:

FYI, equipment on the above varied widely and includes both Nikon &
Canon, SLR, Rangefinder and P&S, 35mm, 120 film... prints & slides, as
well as digital sensors, Windows & Macintosh, etc, etc.  If you have a
question on any particular image, just ask.

Good stuff!  Thanks.

I like your photo of the Mercedes 300SL gullwing.  There are not many
of these left in the world and I've had the pleasure of driving one.
This is a very expensive vehicle.  http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/2007/germany/300sl_gullwing-1.jpg

Here's the complimenting (and more conventional) front view of the
300SL:

<http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/2007/germany/300sl_gullwing-2.jpg>

There was also this vehicle, the Mercedes T80, which was designed by
Dr. Ferdinand Porsche :

<http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/2007/germany/land_speed(6964)r.jpg>

The T80's Wiki is here:
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_T80>

Both were in the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgard, Germany, which is well
worth a visit for anyone who appreciates cars.  Figure 3 hours minimum
and make sure you get in the proper elevator line to get your
electronic headset (included in the admissions price).

I never tell anyone to shut up on the internet but I do have to admit
that some of the biggest critics of people here almost NEVER show any
images...

Actually it is not compulsory to post photos nor is it a requirement that
anyone does before making comments about others picture. Doug and others
need to get that firmly in their small heads before they rant.

Fine.

Some good, some bad.  Whatever.  If I posted every one of them with a
"ZOMG THIS IS THE BEST SHOT EVAR, MY 300D OWNZ YOU ALL!" however, I'd
probably attract the same derision as Rita does.

The problem with Rita, you see, is not the quality (or lack thereof) of
the pictures... it's the heaps of bullshit that they come with.

Most irritating is that despite constantly bashing Brett's
(Annika1980's) posts (and that, folks, is someone who's sharing some
really, REALLY excellent photos), she's taken to attempting to copy his
style of a using a clever(?) subject and lead-in to the post... except
where Brett excels at this, Rita fails miserably.

Worse is that where Brett averages a pic maybe every couple of weeks,
Rita manages at least a couple per day.  It gets a little tired and
there's really nothing that lets one stand out from the next at that rate.

And of course, she goes on at length touting the amazing properties of
her marvelous D3 while openly slagging other comers, particularly the
Canons, yet nothing she's posted yet lends any foundation to this
bashing.  The most obvious case of this is the "best viewed at full
size" tag below every photo... yet "full size" appears to be 1024x768 or
less.  She wants to amaze us with the clarity and crispness of her
wonderful Nikkor glass vs. Brett's Canon L-series lenses, but has yet to
actually offer anything where this quality would BE visible even IF it
was there.  Her 1000mm shots may be the greatest thing ever committed to
CCD, but we'd never be able to tell from the over-processed thumbnails
she provides.  Brett, meanwhile, regularly provides full-scale,
uncropped versions of his 40D shots.

In short, she needs to put up, or shut up.

Put up AND shut up, better.

I will not mention your [ whatever ] photos of [ whatever ] subjects,
none of which are particularly interesting to me, nor did they pique
my interest, something a good photo might do, no matter the [
whatever ] subject.

Not That There's Anything Wrong With That.

Dose of your own [ whatever ] medicine:

Whatever.

reSIST the URGE to exPLAIN.
