PhotoContinental Mt Gravatt is Brissie's biggest... then you also have
Ted's in the City.
teds.com.au
photocontinental.com.au

And Rainers Camera House, almost next door to Ted's - they have been
the cheapest in my experience.
I have been disappointed with Photo Continental. Very slow turnaround
when ordering a filter in, and then one of their salesfolk told me the
reason I shouldn't use a linear polariser was that the resulting
images would have jaggies.... (And that was *after* I told him I knew
the difference between linear and circular and that I specifically
wanted linear for some experimental shots I was doing.)
I don't mind folks who don't know their stuff and admit it, but it
peeves me when people make sh.t up.

LOL it's kinda like that at every store sadly, I would suggest to the
OP that they do heavy research online, look at heaps of pix and listen
to what those shooting the images have to say. Then study what they
say in relation to what others have said and try and weed out the
crap.... and then.... oh stuff it, it all gets too hard! lol

Terrible website. Navigation is virtually impossible as hyperlinklinks don't
work

Which site? I just noticed that PCs site is a new version.... it's
still the same back end shop though. I am able to navigate around and
have not come across buggered links.
Ted's is also working fine here.
Perhaps a browser issue?

The 'photocontinental.com.au' site.
I cannot get the flash menu links (Home...Shop...Specials...etc) to work at
all.
Could be my browser but flash works OK on other web sites.
