Hi all I have a Canon A70 Digital camera, its about 3 years old now.
Suddenly it won't take any photo's, screen goes black, flash everything goes
of, but it states no images.
Has it had it ? I formatted the cards, 2 of them, but still no photo.
What could it be ?
The other question is that I have seen a Canon with 7mp, and 4 X optical
zoom for 199 at Jb's.
Is this a good camera.
They are so cheap now, whats a good one around 300 dollars ?
Thanks for any advise.
Cheers

Is your battery dead and won't hold a charge?

Have a look at this site:
www.imaging-resource.com/badccds.html
Your camera is one that is listed.
Than have a talk to Canon.

I used to experience this with my A70 with Rechargeables that were near the
end of thier charge.
My A70 did eventually die (from being dropped too often).
My A75 bought immediately after is still ticking along quite nicely.
Are you happy to stay with Canon? Although I still use all canon gear, I've
been quite impressed with the panasonic Lumix range of camera.
