The Real D-Mac?

Tonight I received an e-mail from someone named Charles Stevens, who
claims to hail from Australia.  Apparently, Mr. Stevens also goes by
the name "Snoop Douggie Doug."  The e-mail linked me to this site
featuring some of D-Mac's more popular photos as well as a couple of
new ones I had not seen before.  He was very adamant that I post this
to the newsgroup to show the real Douglas MacDonald.

I can't tell you how disgusted I am.  You call this art?  I call it
smut!  I find the first photo in the series called "The Boys on the
Boat" particularly disgusting.  Douglas MacDonald, is this really
you?  If so, you should be ashamed!  What really shocks me is that you
said your wife and grandchildren help you with the sales.  OMG
Douglas!  Shame on you!

So an Australian set up the site hey? Why did the write
"Will this be separate checks?"

In Australia we write Cheques. Do your homework in future.

There was a bit of humour in your first pbase rip off but this is just
stupid.

I am not defending D-Mac in anyway I am just sick of reading your sh.t
everyday.

Don't believe everything you see there, Helen.  I've seen that image
before, of Doug at his mount press, but with a different - and
acceptable - image in the press.

Somebody has done some Photoshopping here, in very bad taste.  I know
the jokes are around about Douggie and the boys, but they're just jokes,
with no actual support from any of his images.

I've had my differences with Doug, but I think that image is well below
the belt (no pun intended there!).  I do not think this is Doug's doing,
he is simply a target for some idiot.

What does the email source reveal about where it came from?  Maybe is
wasn't Oz.  You could perhaps find out the identity of the ISP.

We all enjoy a good joke but this has gone over the top.

I hope in this case Doug does something about it because even for me
this is taking it too far.

what can he do?

well I suppose that given the USofA can extradite people for breach of
copyright..
http://www.bewareofthis.info/pagecache/page321/cached.html

ther *has* to some pact between both countries to support clear breaches of
copyright - and if someone is using the author (Doug)'s photos without
permission

a test case mebbe?

Shame on you for posting the link to the offending photo on this newsgroup.

Nice try, D-Mac!  Is this another part of your continuing obsession
to
slam me?  Well I ain't buying what your selling.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess I should feel
flattered.
Get help now, D-Mac. As someone else noted, you really have slipped
your moorings.

On the off chance that someone else created the site as an attempt to
slip a Mikey up D-Mac's a.s (or whatever he calls it), then nice
work!  I particularly liked the explanation behind the one-legged
groom shot.
LOL!

forward to me the original email, Helen.
I'd be interested in following up who this is.
I can promise you one thing: it ain't an Australian.
The lingo is just not there.
And that ain't Doug's work either.  It's been altered.
So: relax.

Yeah, it takes quite a while to download the two posts from yesterday
on this group or the four from the day before.

A real hotbed of activity, this one.

A while back I visited a place which was once crowded with people looking at
and buying photos and paintings. The operator lamented to me a tale of woe
about how he'd tried to get the customers coming back but they never did.
He said something about not enough exhibitors now.

Then someone else added up the number of new exhibitors who had come and
gone, never to return and they added up to the sum total of all the
exhibitors he had in his really good times... What he needed was visitors
and these he couldn't get - so he reasoned - without a full complement of
exhibitors who wouldn't come until he got the visitor numbers up.

Self regulation at work?

This group is living proof that as long as you have dim witted idiots
posting caustic comments and childish w.nkers fanning the flames of those
who get their rocks off from a reaction to their despicable behaviour, the
group will always remain under the control of the few outspoken faggots who
use it for their own personal entertainment. Anyone who believes anything
they read about anyone else in these groups is as stupid as those who think
the perpetrators of the stunts can be traced.
