And regardless of the technical merits or otherwise (which I'm sure will be done to death elsewhere) I do like that image. It has a cuteness about it. Maybe but you said it shows the lonely status of the human condition. There is no human in this picture, there is a load of empty space as fred has pointed out and a cute dog.
