You know, I never thought I'd say this but after the Macdonald-itis
that this group has suffered recently I'm actually glad to see you,
Daniel.
And regardless of the technical merits or otherwise (which I'm sure
will be done to death elsewhere) I do like that image. It has a
cuteness about it. The expression on the dog's face is a good capture
in the context of the subject, IMHO.

I don't know if I must thank you.

I have to agree, it certainly captures the feel of the moment :-)
I have to give this a 8.5 out of 10 for composition :-)

Cute dog but too much empty foreground for my liking.

Thanks.
The empty foreground is needed to show the lonely status
of the human condition in some case.

Maybe but it's a dog not a human.

Maybe but you said it shows the lonely status of the human condition.
There is no human in this picture, there is a load of empty space as
fred has pointed out and a cute dog.
It's a nice picture but not a great one.

It's enough.

I think Daniel's street photography and street journalism is very much love
hate. In many instances the photographs aren't stunning, but I do feel a
'sense of place' and life captured through his work.
I do quite like this image too.
