Rocha is far better

That's nice of you!

I think you're asking the wrong question - while Doug has some nasty, if not
hilarious work (when captioned appropriately), the fact is that he's the
more technically competent and experienced photographer. Rocha is
inexperienced and naive. That said, I find some of his work more
interesting and compelling than Doug's, perhaps because of that naive,
somewhat innocent perspective.
In terms of who I'd killfile, it'd have to be Doug because of his
unpleasant, abusive, needy, self-indulgent, narcissistic,
technically-questionable and generally hubristic posts.
Rocha's posts are both seldom, and in themselves inoffensive. They say,
"here is my latest picture", and a link. That's it. Once a week, there it
is, you can take it or leave it. Where Daniel has a problem is that of
misunderstanding a subtle quirk of the English language. He mistakenly does
a literal translation of his page's theme, "photo of the week", without
realising that in English, that phrase has a different implication than "my
weekly photo". The former implies something special, perhaps exeptional in
general terms. The latter is cleary a routine thing, and it's value is
relative to the poster.

More experienced, perhaps, but one should never use the words
"technically competent " and "D-Mac" in the same sentence. Rocha has
forgotten more about composition that D-mac ever knew. Rocha knows
what he's trying to do. His implementation of his ideas are sometimes
lacking, IMO. D-Mac is just a snapshooter whose idea of a successful
photograph is one where he remembered to take the lens cap off.
Rocha's pics show potential.
Douggie's pics show ineptitude.
Which of the two would you hire to photograph your daughter's wedding?

Daniel Rocha is by far the better of the 2. He has potential and is
able to accept and learn from constructive critiques. Whereas Douglas
takes it as a personal attack and sadly, refuses to change or better
himself.
Daniel has a romantic charm about him as well. His potential to take
wedding shots would be good.

I'll fully agree with that!

Silly question, who in their right mind would hire either of them?

If I had to choose one of them, it'd be Rocha, for sure. I think that
Rocha will, one day, become a very good photographer.

I agree, despite Rocha's arrogance his work is far better than douglas

Unlike Dougie, Rocha at least has some sort of artistic sense, &
ability to use his camera.
