the difference is about $5 and the EIII is 122x ????

Why would you want a 150x card if you thing the EIII is too fast.

$10 from the cheapest prices I can find - admittedly not a lot, but why

Because they're cheaper, and the "150x" on a CF card is a bit like
"1000000:1 contrast ratio!" on a projector - in reality the RiData 150x
cards are slower than the Sandisk 122x cards.
